Welcome to the Missouri Baptist Bible Fellowship website.

When I was a child, fellowship always meant that we were going out to eat.  Now that I have grown, it has taken on a whole new meaning.

In the New Testament the word for fellowship means "an association involving close mutual relations and involvement".  Fellowship is more than just spending time together.  It is about spending time with those that have many things in common.

That is what is available to the pastor of the Baptist Bible Fellowship in the state of Missouri.  While I am in the southwest corner of the state, I get to occasionally spend time with pastors all over the state that are faithfully serving the Lord and caring for those in their congregation.  I love that I can be encouraged and challenged to serve by those who know and understand my calling as a pastor.

A time of fellowship is a great benefit, but it also costs.  I like the way our BBFI President, Eddie Lyons explains it:

"Friendship and fellowship are costly. They do not come automatically. There is always a price to be paid when it comes to developing relationships. Our fellowship meetings come on 'tired Mondays' during weeks where it seems we have more to do than we can get done.  Let us make a real effort to get together. We just might end up blessing each other."

This web site is a place to start by keeping in touch with what is going on in our state.  Please enter your e-mail to the right to stay connected.  Whether you are in full time ministry or bi-vocational, we want to keep you up to date with things that are happening in your state like meeting schedules, events, and even prayer requests.  If you are able to attend the meetings, you will be encouraged to keep serving and you'll meet others of a kindred spirit.

Thanks for joining us here and we look forward to seeing you soon at a state meeting.
